
Constance Avenel holds a master’s degree in criminal law and criminology from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, as well as a certificate in international studies (CEIG) from the Institut des Hautes Études Internationales.
She worked as an assistant to an investigating judge at the Paris Court of Appeal before becoming the ECLJ’s advocacy officer for religious freedom and drafting the ECLJ’s report on “the oppression of Christians in Algeria.”
