UN: ECLJ Denounces “bacha bazi”

An annual full-day meeting on the rights of the child was held on 7 March 2016, in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 28/19. The meeting was focused on the theme “Information and communications technology and child sexual exploitation”, and was informed by the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (A/HRC/31/34). The meeting was divided into two panel discussions: the first panel discussion was held at the 17th meeting, on 7 March 2016; the second panel discussion was held at the 19th meeting, on the same day.
