Ligia Castaldi

Ligia De Jesús Castaldi is Professor of Law at Ave Maria School of Law.  Courses taught by her include International Law, Family Law and Protection of Human Life in Law and Public Policy.

Professor Castaldi worked for several international and governmental human rights agencies, including UNICEF’s regional office for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. She was also a legal advisor to the National Congress of Honduras on family issues.

Professor Castaldi received LL.M. degrees from the University of Groningen and Harvard Law School.
